Superfoods for Babies!

Best of Ancestral Wisdom Baby Superfoods

Baby should have plenty of superfoods in his diet every diet, even every meal. Get in the habit of preparing baby’s food from the very first meal and, and it will soon become second nature. Based on ancestral wisdom and some sound science, there are four baby superfoods that sometimes get under looked by new mothers.

Raw milk: Designed for the developing baby to build the gut wall, create the immune system, and ensure the assimilation of 100% of the nutrient; and raw milk contains an ideal blend of protein, fat, and carbohydrates. Raw milk from humans and other mammals all has these health-promoting properties.

Egg yolk: A superlative source of choline, cholesterol, and arachidonic acid for a baby’s developing brain. Grass-fed yolks will also be rich sources of vitamins A, D, iron, and folic acid.

Liver: Not only supplies choline, cholesterol, and arachidonic acid, but a powerhouse of minerals (including all-important iron) and vitamins (including crucial and hard-to-obtain vitamins B6 and B12). Poultry liver (chicken, turkey, duck, and goose) are the best choices because they contain the right balance of vitamins A, D3, and K2.

Fish eggs: Not all babies take fish eggs, but some will pick up colorful salmon eggs and eat them with relish.

Use these superfoods as additions to your baby’s vegetable purees or as a snack in between meals. Use plenty of cooked vegetables in your purees like pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot, parsnip, beetroot, swede, and zucchini; they are generally very easy to digest and are a wonderful source of fiber.
